# Wavelights — Wearable LED Portfolio 2020–2026

> Six years of sound-reactive LED design by Wavelights / Markus Loeffler, from the first lockdown prototype to festival-scale wristbands.

This portfolio documents the evolution of Wavelights LED projects. The concept: animated LEDs that sync to music via on-board microphones.

## Projects

- Original Blinkie (2020): 24 WS2812 LEDs in a 3D-printed circle, Arduino-based PCB, 6-hour battery. The lockdown-era first prototype.
- Blinkie-Tube (2021): 60 LEDs inside a metal tube with frosted glass. Refined sound algorithm with drop detection.
- GlowPop (2022): Foldable 5x5 LED matrix, 9 patterns, 8 color schemes, 72 animations, up to 24 hours battery.
- Lumicense (2024): 12-LED rechargeable necklace in vegan leather, ATtiny85 microcontroller, LiPo battery.
- Tiny Blinky Matrix (2024): 23x23 cm sound-reactive 7x7 LED matrix with 3D-printed reflectors. Powered by the self-developed Tiny Blinky control board.
- Lumiband (2026): Music-controlled LED wristband with Bluetooth, RFID payments, custom branding. Currently live on Kickstarter.
